Fans
Our fans are very important to our team. Just like any team, there are more fans than players and coaches. It takes about an average of 1
hour a month to be a Psalm 82:3 fan. Being a fan is a 2 step process.
1) When you are available, come to our monthly meetings on the first Wednesday of the month from 7:00-8:00 p.m.
2) Sign up to volunteer at least one 6 hour shift during the year at one of our local craft fairs to raise awareness and funds for our kids in
Haiti.
Players
Our players take on additional responsibilities to make our team a success. The commitment is an average of 3-4 hours a month. Our
players attend the monthly meetings regularly (we understand other things in life can conflict with the meeting from time to time) and
commit to volunteering for one 6 hour shift at a craft fair event 4-6 times a year.
Key Players
Every team has key players on the field. Our key players do the same as our players, but are willing to take on the responsibility of being the
lead person at the craft fairs.
Coaches
A good coach is really a teacher. Our coaches do their teaching in Haiti. So, these are people who are planning on going on a mission trip.
Our monthly meetings and craft fair events all directly prepare for the work we do while in Haiti. Best prepared coaches are involved in both
preparation events, monthly meetings and craft fair events, especially during the 3 months just prior to a trip.
Sponsors
Just as important as manpower is dollarpower. We need people to donate funds to provide for the orphanage needs. We have developed 2
types of sponsorships and need both to be successful
1) Annual Child Sponsors People who sponsor a child will know that 100% of the funds contributed go to the direct care of the child. We
look for our sponsors to select the sponsor level that best fits them and commit to sponsoring the child for 1 year at the selected
sponsorship level. No administrative costs, missionary work, building, or repairs for the orphanage come out of annual child sponsor
dollars. Not many organizations can say 100% of contributed funds go to the end cause, but we can.
2) Psalm 82:3 Sponsors make contributions to provide for the needs that are not food, education, and medical care. While these funds are
not allocated for food, education, and medical care, they can be used for those items when needed. These sponsors provide funds for
building and repair projects in Haiti, mission work, and administrative expenses. We have no paid staff, but we do have expenses to
coordinate the care of the children. These sponsors enable us to use 100% of the Annual Child Sponsor dollars for the direct care of the
children and provide for development and improvement in Haiti.
