PSALMS 82:3“Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.”Psalm 82:3 is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that helps Haitian children who don't have their parents to care for them. We exist to spread awareness of the need Haitian children living in poverty and to provide for their needs. We provide education and raise funds in the U.S. in order to help Haitian children access daily life needs, such as food, water, clothing, shelter, and medical care. In addition to basic life needs, we raise funds to provide them access to education, since all schools require a fee to attend.
The children we support are living in the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. The availability of local support and resources are extremely limited in Haiti. Thankfully the orphanage we support has a wonderful, loving pastor to care for the children. He diligently works every day to provide for the children, but needs our help to purchase the items they need to live. We also work to support the Canaan community in Haiti develop educational needs for the children. Providing the assistance these children need day to day is minimal compared to U.S. standards. Making a tremendous life long impact on the lives of these children only takes a little bit of time and a little bit of money.
